ABOUT ME

My name is Liz McFarland, I am a communications student at The University of Alabama, graduating in December of 2024. I have worked in motorsports for over 5 years, and I hope to have a career in NASCAR after I graduate.

I was first introduced to racing at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, which led to working for a TN-based late model team, working for an ARCA team that was formerly a late model team, working for Montgomery Motor Speedway while living in Alabama for college, and having a summer internship at Alaska Raceway Park.

I have experience in several different areas of racing, and I value them all. From photography and social media, to sponsorship negotiations, to selling pit tickets, and running the scoreboard, I am passionate about every single aspect of motorsports. (Except for changing tires and gears and stuff, I can’t do that yet)

At the end of the day, I am and will always be a race fan. I am passionate about racing, and I hope to influence, support, and give back to the sport that has given me more than I could ever ask for.
